Proposal Request: Synthetic Oil Brand Asks For Sponsorship Ideas

It seems having title sponsorship to a Nationwide Series event, owning naming rights to a Houston-based raceway and recently executing an Iron Man 2 tie-in is not enough. This Texas-based synthetic lubricant brand has taken the unusual step to issue a press release asking for more sponsorship ideas. The 'Open Call for Sponsorship Proposals' runs through September 30th so go ahead and give it your best shot below. But first, a little bit of Iron Man inspiration.

High performance synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple has announced an open call for sponsorship proposals for the 2012 year. Proposals will be accepted until Sept. 30, 2011 for all genres of racing (individuals and teams), event organizers and project builds.

“Royal Purple’s primary interest in sponsorship is for research and development. Our sponsorship activities are executed to increase the company’s visibility, differentiate the company’s products from those of its competitors, and establish mutually beneficial partnerships,” said Royal Purple Director of Consumer Marketing Randy Fisher. “Sponsorship proposals are evaluated to ensure that Royal Purple establishes sponsorship relationships that will mutually benefit Royal Purple and the requestor,” he added.

Proposals may be submitted via email or mail. For more information and to download the sponsorship form, visit http://www.royalpurple.com/rp-racing.html. #proposalrequests
