Red Bull Promotes Extreme Inventing With 'Creation'

If there's not a sport called extreme building yet, let's face it there's really only one brand that should be creating it. Red Bull, well known for inventing off the wall sports stunts, is challenging hackers, makers, builders and thinkers to create something of their own. Red Bull Creation, first launched in 2011, is a nationwide contest that asks teams of four to create something unique from scratch in less than 72 hours. The winners of this year's 2nd annual Red Bull Creation got to show off their creations this past weekend at Maker Faire, an event Red Bull sponsors.

“None of this is incredibly serious. It’s just kind of having fun and making stuff and getting a little weird," Jason Naumoff, producer and competition director for Creation recently told Wired.
