SafeAuto Enters The Octagon With UFC Deal

Columbus-based auto insurer, SafeAuto, has become an official sponsor of the Ultimate Fighting Championship for 2011.

Beginning with UFC 127 and including seven other events during 2011, SateAuto will receive visibility within the UFC Octagon. The company’s sponsorship will also extend to multiple UFC® Fight Nights™ televised nationally on the Spike TV and VERSUS cable networks.

“SafeAuto is proud to be an official sponsor of the UFC,” Elie Deshe, VP of Emerging Media for SafeAuto, said. “Fans of the UFC appreciate all the hard work that these athletes put into their sport, and we look forward to supporting this growing sport, as well as the athletes themselves.”

In addition, SafeAuto will be sponsoring individual fighters during all UFC events in 2011. The company will have its own “SafeAuto Fight Team,” complete with a website dedicated to information about its sponsored fighters.

The SafeAuto Fight Team site will include exclusive interviews, previews, and videos of all the company’s sponsored fighters. There will also be official UFC content available directly from the Fight Team website, which can be accessed at safeauto.com/mma. Fans can also follow the team via SafeAuto's social media channels such as Facebook and YouTube.

“We want to give UFC fans great coverage of their favorite fighters, and also provide great auto insurance coverage to fans of the UFC,” Deshe said.
