Shopping Mall Developer Aims To Bring More Events To LA With Latest Partnership

Westfield Group, one of the largest shopping mall developers in the world, has signed on as an Official Marketing Partner of the LA Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC).


As part of Westfield’s marketing partnership, Gary Williams, U.S. Senior Executive Vice President, Westfield Property Group, has been elected to serve on LASEC’s Board of Directors while Larry Green, Senior Vice President, U.S. Development and Westfield’s LA Regional Leader, will serve on LASEC’s Advisory Board.

“We are pleased that Westfield, along with Gary and Larry, are now on our team. Their vast shopping center portfolio in Los Angeles will be another attraction for the major sports and entertainment events we want to bring to Los Angeles,” Kathryn Schloessman, President of LASEC said.

LASEC is the private, non-profit organization for the City of Los Angeles to seek, host, promote, and retain major sporting entertainment events. In addition to Westfield, other official marketing partners include American Airlines, Classic Party Rentals, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Farmer John, Longo Toyota-Scion-Lexus, Majestic Realty Co., Pacific Palms Resort, Sprint, State Farm, and Wells Fargo.
