SI Swimsuit Issue Gets First Ever Official Razor
Gillette and Olay are joining forces to launch the new Gillette Venus & Olay razor. In preparation, it seems the brand team found that unshaven legs contributed most frequently to a loss of confidence at the beach so the Venus & Olay team are leaning on a new sponsorship to launch the razor. The Venus & Olay Razor will be the Official Razor -- and first-ever beauty partner -- of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2012.

According to a recent survey conducted by the companies, 84 percent say forgetting to shave would make them lose confidence fastest at the beach -- even over having a few extra pounds, cited by 62 percent. So the Venus & Olay have partnered with SI as the Official Razor -- and first-ever beauty partner -- of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2012. Together, they will give women a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to prepare for the most-viewed swimsuit shoot of all time. Starting February 14, 2012, in conjunction with the 2012 launch week, SportsIllustrated.com will feature four custom webisodes created with Venus, highlighting a day-in-the-life and beauty secrets of Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, including how she achieves Goddess Skin with her Venus & Olay razor.
