Sponsorship to the Super Rich Pays Off For Ulysse Nardin

Only two months since the last Monaco Yacht Show, organizers have finalized the renewal of Ulysse Nardin's official sponsorship for 2010.

The Swiss watchmaker began its support of one of the largest gatherings of the world's billionaires last September, which gave the company exclusive exposure to some of the world’s most elite professional and private clientele at this year's event.

Ulysee Nardin is joined in sponsorship of the Monaco Yacht Show by Abu Dhabi. Other partners include Eurocopter, Champagne Lanson, Cristal Baccarat, BMW and others.

Ulysse Nardin's sponsorship renewal of one of the world's leading superyachting events reflects their desire to leverage this expensive hobby to reach high-net-worth clientele. The watchmaker took advantage of its participation in the 19th MYS to invite the show’s guests to discover the Moonstruck, revealed to the world for the first time at the Nice Observatory on September 24, 2009.

Unfazed by mild annoyances like the global credit crunch, the super rich never stop spending. Nor do the sponsors that seek to happily satisfy that urge.
