Steak n Shake Signs New Deal with Pacers, Fever

Pacers Sports & Entertainment has signed a new multi-year partnership with Steak n Shake, a 500-unit diner-style restaurant chain headquartered in Indianapolis. The new partnership began with the 2010 Indiana Fever season and continues with the upcoming 2010-11 Pacers season. Financial terms were not released.

“We are thrilled to partner with a winning company like Steak n Shake.” said PS&E President Jim Morris. “Their support of both the Pacers and the Fever show their commitment and support to our community.”

As a sponsor of the Pacers and Fever, Steak n Shake receives courtside signage, a game night giveaway, on-court promotions and is involved with team community relations programs.

“Steak n Shake is proud to partner with the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever, since basketball and Steakburgers are both Indiana traditions,” said Sardar Biglari, Steak n Shake’s CEO.

Biglari added, “Because Steak n Shake is committed to the Indianapolis community, cheering on both teams enables us to participate in and relate to the community year round. We are excited about our new relationship, and we look forward to thrilling seasons for both teams.”
