StubHub today announced that it has added the University of North Carolina athletics program to its partnership roster. The deal, which makes StubHub the Official Sponsor of University of North Carolina Athletics, was facilitated through college athletics software provider, Paciolan, and Learfield Sports.

The partnership will include electronic ticketing integration with the North Carolina basketball program in 2010 and for the Tar Heels basketball and football programs starting in the 2011 season and beyond. With this new partnership, StubHub is now the official fan to fan ticket exchange partner for 19 NCAA properties nationwide.

"StubHub is thrilled to welcome the University of North Carolina as a valued partner within our rapidly growing collegiate roster, and we are enthusiastic about providing a convenient, secure and safe way for Tar Heel fans to buy and sell tickets," said Danielle Maged, head of partnerships and business development, StubHub. "The university, our first ever collegiate partner in the state of North Carolina, joins other recently announced partners including , Florida State University and Virginia Tech as we continue to expand within the ACC."

Electronic integration with Paciolan will enable tickets to be purchased and then emailed instantly using the school's print-at-home delivery , which, combined with StubHub's automated fulfillment technology, allows for a streamlined listing and purchase process. With the new integration, Tar Heels ticket holders have the opportunity to list both season ticket and individual game tickets on StubHub and have their tickets instantly sent to buyers.

As an official sponsor of North Carolina Athletics, StubHub marketing assets will be visible across basketball and football properties for the university, including in-game signage and features, radio, ticket insert ignores, and online placements on
