The Hooters Of Coffee Houses Aims To Go Nationwide With Big Marketing Push

Male-focused sponsorship properties may want to keep an eye on Baristas, a Washington-based chain of bikini-clad baristas which says it is expanding its espresso stands nationwide. To aid in the marketing push, Baristas has partnered with M&M Productions to produce its own reality TV show, which it hopes will help raise awareness of its expansion to new markets outside the Northwest.

"We have been developing this series for some time now and are thrilled to have it come to fruition and to be working with M&M to carry out our vision," Barry Henthorn Baristas CEO stated. "In terms of exposure for BCCI, the benefits are incalculable and we expect that the Baristas brand will gain instant recognition, if not overnight, then very soon after. Our decision to do the show was driven by the consumer's fascination with our model and to reach our highly targeted demographic in today's number one advertising medium, Reality TV."

Headquartered in the Seattle, Washington area, Baristas Coffee Company, Inc. was formed to create a national brand of drive-thru espresso stands. While locations are currently only open in Washington and Texas, the company is aiming to expand to 100 stores across the nation with Arizona, New Jersey and Florida all set to open new stores. If you've got some fresh new marketing ideas, send them a note.

Baristas is set to open five locations in Arizona alone this February. Here's Phoenix's Fox 10 News with more on what Baristas is all about.
