Through Concert Sponsorships, Robin Hood Raises Millions For Hurricane Sandy Relief

Put on by the Robin Hood Foundation, the 12-12-12 concert at Madison Square Garden this week, featuring Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and others, is reported to have brought in $30 million in ticket revenue, sponsorships and corporate donations. Funds from the concert, which aired on a number of networks and was streamed live online, will benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.


Sponsors included Chase, Samsung, State Farm, BlackRock, Optimum Cable, Time Warner and Verizon.
