TopRight Launches Sponsorship Practice

Atlanta-based strategic marketing consulting firm, TopRight, is launching a new sponsorship practice and has hired marketing veteran, Guy Nielsen, who will lead the firm’s sponsorship practice and oversee TopRight’s overall business in the Northeast Region.

“Guy’s Fortune 200 CMO experience and success with transforming marketing and communications organizations around the world really strengthens our consulting offerings. We are thrilled to have him on board to help us drive our ambitious growth goals.” According to Dave Sutton, Founding Partner of TopRight, “Guy’s Fortune 200 CMO experience and success with transforming marketing and communications organizations around the world really strengthens our consulting offerings. We are thrilled to have him on board to help us drive our ambitious growth goals.”

In a press release, TopRight says it launched the sponsorship practice in response to two main trends, "namely the growing importance multinational companies place on sports and entertainment sponsorships to drive their brand and business objectives, and the unprecedented demand for credible and comprehensive metrics to help companies clearly understand the impact of their sponsorship investment."

Guy was formerly the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for CSC, a Fortune 200 IT services and consulting company based in the Washington DC area. Before joining CSC, Guy spent six years in Europe as SVP of Corporate Communications for Dutch financial services giant AEGON N.V. and as Director of Worldwide Field Marketing for BearingPoint.
