Two New Updates To SponsorPitch

Since relaunching SponsorPitch about 5 weeks ago, we've had so much great feedback we hardly know how to process it all.

This is a good problem to have and we'll continue to do our best to give sponsorship professionals the most valuable, indispensable resource on the planet. In a world where sponsors vet proposals in the blink of an eye, based in large part on the depth of the brand research that goes into them, we believe there is no greater challenge (in the sponsorship industry) than what we're in the process of doing: mapping the global sponsorship marketplace and putting critical business intelligence into your hands in a more timely and cost-efficient manner than ever before. At the time of writing this, we have 723 brands, 821 sponsorship decision makers and over 1,000 deals available on the site. There will probably be more by the time you read it.

In an effort to improve your experience and make it more widely available to the industry, we've rolled out a couple small updates today, in large part inspired by your user feedback.

  • We have unveiled an annual professional membership plan that gives an alternative method of payment to users who would rather pay up front for a whole year rather than pay monthly for SponsorPitch's professional membership. As a benefit to those who choose to take advantage of the annual membership option, we're currently providing 1 month free (an 8% discount to the average monthly membership price!). Similar to the monthly membership price, the annual price will rise as more professional users join SponsorPitch, so if SponsorPitch sounds like something you'll be using in the future, we encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to lock in the current price while it is still low. Logged in users can upgrade to professional membership here. If you're an existing professional member and would like to switch to annual to get the free month, email us at [email protected] and we'll give you instructions for converting to the annual subscription.

  • Second, we've made the experience for sponsorship professionals more personal by giving you the opportunity to rename the link associated with your profile. Username selection is first come, first serve and is currently open to professional members, so sign-in and go to your update profile page where you'll see a box that looks like this:

    Photobucket

Enter your desired username and press save and your profile link will be changed from something like sponsorpitch.com/members/235232 to something like sponsorpitch.com/members/mahoney. It will not change the name that appears on your profile, in search or elsewhere on the site, but it will provide you with a link that you feel proud to share… on your business cards, bottom of your emails, linkedin page and wherever else you choose. Now, when colleagues or potential clients visit your profile page, it will make it easier for them to remember.

If you have any questions about either of the new features released today, don't hesitate to email us at [email protected]. Look for more feature updates in the coming days and weeks as we learn more about how your using the product and develop new ways to add value to your experience.
