[Updated] Clint Eastwood & Chrysler Get Taken Out By A Copyright Claim

Update: the Chrysler ad is now back up on Chrysler's YouTube channel.

The NFL has apparently issued a DMCA takedown notice against Chrysler for the posting of the Chrysler's Super Bowl ad featuring Clint Eastwood. The "It's Halftime in America" ad has been removed from the Chrysler YouTube channel, but can still be viewed at media.chrysler.com.

Neither party has yet issued a response as to why the ad has been removed, though it can still be found on YouTube having been uploaded by other parties. It's a curious move, since just last week, Chrysler expanded its partnership with the NFL in the UK. Anyway, here's the ad in question, which reportedly cost the auto giant about $14 million and had already racked up nearly 500,000 views on YouTube..
