[VIDEO] 13 Recycled Water Bottles = Nike Jersey

Looking to reduce the environmental impact of their products, Nike has come up with a way to create its Euro 2012 jerseys out of recycled water bottles. Croatia, France, Netherlands, Poland and Portugal will be sporting the environmentally friendly kit this summer. Made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles per kit, shorts are created with 100% recycled polyester, while jerseys are made with at least 96% recycled polyester. Since 2010, Nike Football has used an estimated 115 million recycled plastic bottles on this project. Watch the video below to see how.
