Groupon partners with TCM Big Screen Classics 05/2016 Thirty years ago, viewers delighted as Ferris Bueller and his friends visited the Willis Tower, drove a Ferrari, hung out at the Art Institute of Chicago and took in a Chicago Cubs game. Now, thanks to Groupon and Fathom Events, fans have a chance to experience the perfect day off themselves. As part of the 30th anniversary celebration of John Hughes' unforgettable comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off fans can win the opportunity to reenact his epic skip day and relive the cult classic during a limited return to theaters on May 15 and 18 as part of the TCM Big Screen Classics series.Through May 16, Groupon is presenting the Official Ferris Bueller's Experience sweepstakes* (gr.pn/ferris) in which one lucky winner will replicate Ferris' legendary day off in Chicago. The grand prize is a weekend trip for two to the Windy City from July 15-17, 2016, which includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, a luxury sports car rental, tickets to the Willis Tower Skydeck, a classic hometown baseball game and the Chicago Art Institute, dinner at Chicago's acclaimed Everest restaurant and more."Like Ferris, Groupon believes that life moves pretty fast, and we want to make sure no one misses the incredible things happening around them every day," said Jon Wild, vice president of NORTH AMERICA marketing, Groupon.
