A-Mark Precious Metals (founded in 1965 as A Mark Coin Company) is a precious metals trading company. It was the first company allowed to make and sell coins from the metals recovered in the shipwreck of SS Gairsoppa. A-Mark is traded on Nasdaq and is a Fortune 500 company as of 2021
The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee is a non-profit organization that serves as the National Olympic Committee and National Paralympic Committee for the United States and coordinates the relationship between the United States Anti-Doping Agency and the World Anti-Doping Agency and various international sports federations. Under the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, the Committee is chartered under Title 36 of the United States Code. Despite this federal mandate it receives no continuous financial assistance from the U.S. government. As a non-profit organization it competes with other charities for private contributions.
