American Family Insurance (aka AmFam) is a private mutual company that focuses on property, casualty and auto insurance, but also offers commercial insurance, life, health, and homeowners coverage, as well as investment and retirement-planning products.
About Property:
The American Family Insurance Championship is a PGA Champions Tour event held in June at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. An 81-player field of senior tour golfers will compete for a $2 million purse, with proceeds benefiting the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation and the American Family Children's Hospital.
American Family Insurance has signed a three-year contract with the PGA Tour to be the title sponsor of a new Champions Tour event that will debut in 2016, with Steve Stricker as host.
