His most prominent win came in the fourth round of the 2014 Wimbledon Championships where he defeated 14-time grand slam champion, a No. 2 seed and then world No. 1 Rafael Nadal in 4 sets.
Figures obtained by Fairfax Media from sports market researchers Repucom show Kyrgios has the highest level of appeal of any Australian sportsperson, also topping the charts in the breakthrough and trend-setter categories.
