Bimbo Bakeries USA is the American corporate arm of Mexico's Grupo Bimbo. It is the largest bakery company in the United States, owning six of the top twelve fresh bread brands in the United States. The name, made up in Mexico, does not mean anything in Spanish. The pronunciation is given on packaging as "Beembo" to distinguish it from the American slang term "bimbo".

The Philadelphia Union is an American professional soccer club based in the Philadelphia satellite city of Chester, Pennsylvania, which competes in Major League Soccer .
In the agreement, Bimbo also becomes an official sponsor of Major League Soccer, joining a handful of firms that simultaneously support both a team and the league. That aspect of the agreement opens MLS stadiums and events to Bimbo signage and promotions.
