Blue Bell Creameries, founded in 1907, is the manufacturer of Blue Bell brand ice cream. Blue Bell sells its ice cream directly in only 22 states, mostly in the Southern United States, although Blue Bell ice cream has also been eaten aboard the International Space Station and at Camp David. Notwithstanding its small market penetration, Blue Bell is the second largest selling ice cream brand in the United States as a whole. Corporate headquarters are at the "Little Creamery" in Brenham, Texas.[1

The Rangers are a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball's American League, and are the reigning A.L. Western Division and A.L. Champions. Since 1994, the Rangers have played in Rangers Ballpark in Arlington in Arlington, Texas. The team's name is borrowed from the famous law enforcement agency of the same name.

The deal extends Blue Bell's designation as the official ice cream of the Texas Rangers. The partnership will include radio inventory on the team's broadcasts, hospitality elements, and vending of Blue Bell Ice Cream within Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. That includes the very popular Blue Bell Ice Cream Sundays when youngsters 13 and under can purchase select Blue Bell items for only $1.00 for all Sunday home games.
