British Sky Broadcasting Group plc is a British satellite broadcasting, broadband and telephony services company headquartered in London, with operations in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Formed in 1990 by the equal merger of Sky Television and British Satellite Broadcasting, BSkyB is the largest pay-TV broadcaster in Britain and Ireland with over 10million subscribers.
Team Sky (UCI team code: SKY) is a British professional cycling team that competes in the UCI World Tour. The team is based at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, England, with a logistics base in Belgium and an operational base in Quarrata, Italy.[1] The team is managed by British Cycling's performance director Dave Brailsford.
