Cabovisão is a Portuguese private telecommunications operator, founded on September 27, 1993, and in 1995 obtains the licences to start operating. It offers cable television, internet and VoIP telephone services. Until 2012, Cabovisão was owned by Canadian media company, Cogeco. On February 29, 2012 that it was announced that Cogeco sold Cabovisão to ALTICE, a European media group.[1]
Portuguese League for Professional Football is the main organizing entity for professional football in Portugal, headquartered in the city of Porto. The LPFP organizes the two major professional football championships in Portugal: the Liga ZON Sagres and the Segunda Liga, which are, respectively, the first and second top tiers of the Portuguese football pyramid. The Primeira Liga consists of sixteen teams whilst the Segunda Liga consists of twenty two teams after six new B teams joined the league in the 2012–13 season. The LPFP also organizes the Taça da Liga . Thirty two clubs from the top two divisions are able to participate in the competition. The six B teams are unable to compete in the Taça da Liga. The current President of LPFP is Mário Figueiredo.
