The NFL Alumni Association is a nationwide group comprised mainly of former National Football League players, coaches, and other employees whose mission is to serve, assist, and inform former players and their families. The association offers a variety of medical, financial, and social programs to help members lead healthy, productive, and connected lives, as well as community initiatives under its "Caring for Kids" programs. Annually, the alumni host a series of events to raise funds to support charities serving children. The Alumni mission and purpose is “Caring for Kids, Caring for Our Community and Caring for Our Own", where player alumni give back in their local communities by raising funds for youth-related charities through their 35 regional chapters. It is a tradition that has existed for more than 50 years. Alumni support typically raises more than 1.5 million dollars for worthy causes. To accomplish our mission & vision,the NFLA has established the NFL Alumni Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
