Capital One Financial Corp. is a U.S.-based bank holding company specializing in credit cards, home loans, auto loans, banking and savings products. A member of the Fortune 500, the company helped pioneer the mass marketing of credit cards in the early 1990s, and it is now the fourth-largest customer of the United States Postal Service and has the fifth-largest deposit portfolio in the United States.
About Property:
The Houston Open is a regular golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is currently played in April at Redstone Golf Club in the Houston suburb of Humble, Texas. Shell and the Houston Golf Association are the main sponsors of the tournament. The 2011 purse was $5,900,000, with $1,062,000 going to the winner.
The McLean, Va.-based bank has also signed on to be the presenting sponsor of SHO Club 16, a club house near the course’s 16th hole, and “will provide bank services and volunteers" during the event, according to a statement.
