Red Nose Day was founded in 1998 and is the UK’s premiere live comedy benefit. Red Nose Day returns to America on Thursday May 24, 2018 and is an opportunity for people to get together and do something funny for money at home, school and work. The money raised by Red Nose Day benefits children in some of the neediest communities in the US and some of the poorest communities in the world. Partner charities include Boys & Girls Clubs of America; charity: water; Children’s Health Fund; Covenant House; Feeding America; Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance; UnidosUS; Save the Children and The Global Fund.

Coco Libre announced today that their flagship Organic Coconut Water will hydrate NBC’s “Red Nose Day” live entertainment special for charity on Thursday, May 21 (8-11 p.m. ET). Comedians, musicians, celebrities, cast and crew will be able to reach for Coco Libre during buildout and rehearsals, in green rooms and backstage during the broadcast. The special will feature superstar presenters, original sketch comedy, film parodies and A-list musical performances while also highlighting the poverty-related issues for which Red Nose Day is raising funds.
