JD Motorsports is a NASCAR Nationwide Series team. It is owned and operated by Johnny Davis and Lori Morgan. The team began running in 2002, and currently fields the #01 G&K Services Chevrolet Impala for Mike Wallace and the No. 4. Chevrolet for Danny Efland and Darryl Harr part time. The team made history in 2008 having the 1st ever female crew chief.
Spartanburg, SC (February 26, 2019) – Contec, Inc., a global manufacturer of critical cleaning and contamination control products, is announcing its sponsorship of JD Motorsports (JDM) and driver Ross Chastain for three races during the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series season—a first-ever sponsorship in Contec’s 30-history. Both based in upstate South Carolina, Contec is proud to support JDM, one of the most renowned teams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) circuit, fielding racers since 1983.
