Eagle Stadium is a football stadium in Allen, Texas. It is owned and operated by the Allen Independent School District. It opened on August 31, 2012[1] and has a capacity of 18,000 spectators. It is home of the Allen High School Eagles. Beneath the stadium, there will be areas for wrestling, golf simulator practice, and weights. With a seating capacity of 18,000, Allen’s nearly $60 million stadium is one of the most expensive stadiums built exclusively for high school athletics.
Luxuries and scale — 18,000 seats — give Eagle Stadium a chance to take on competition unthinkable for most other high school venues. Sights are set on attracting events now held at high school and college stadiums as well as the King Kong of local venues: Cowboys Stadium.
