Ericsson is currently the world's largest mobile telecommunications equipment vendor with a market share of 35%. It operates in 180 countries and employ more than 100,000 people. Founded in 1876, Ericsson is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2011 the company's net sales were SEK 226.9 billion (USD 35.0 billion). Ericsson is listed on NASDAQ OMX, Stockholm and NASDAQ, New York stock exchanges.
OpenStack, a cloud-computing project, aims to provide the "ubiquitous open source cloud computing platform for public and private clouds."[1] Predominantly acting as an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform, it is free and open-source software released under the terms of the Apache License. The project is managed by the OpenStack Foundation, a non-profit corporate entity established in September 2012[2] to promote OpenStack software and its community.[3]
