The 2016 US National Drone Racing Championships (Aug 5-7, 2016) are being held on Governors Island, New York City. It will be broadcast live on ESPN3, with two, one hour specials to be aired on ESPN and ESPN2. Drone Nationals is the largest, most formidable drone racing championships in the US, attracting the most elite pilots to compete for the titles and the chance to represent Team USA at the World Drone Racing Championships in Hawaii in mid October. Drone Nationals will be held on Governors Island, New York City, August 5th-7th, offering stunning views of both lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. The U.S. National Drone Racing Championships will have an enjoyable summer festival atmosphere that racing fans appreciate—family entertainment, a ‘makers’ style drone racing area for kids, state-of-the-art technology, food, drink, and drone vendors.
