Free State Brewing Company, founded in 1989, is a craft brewery and brewpub located in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
About Property:
The sports teams at the University of Kansas are known as the Jayhawks. They are one of three schools in the state of Kansas that participate in NCAA Division I. The Jayhawks are also a member of the Big 12 Conference. University of Kansas athletic teams have won ten total NCAA Division I championships, including three in men's basketball, one in men's cross country, three in men's indoor track and field, and three in men's outdoor track and field.
Beginning this fall, those with access to premium seating and hospitality areas at KU Athletics facilities will be able to enjoy complimentary Free State brews with their game. The perk is available only through membership in the Williams Education Fund, which raises money to provide scholarships for KU student-athletes. You also have to have your game ticket in hand, of course.
