The Winthrop Eagles are composed of 16 teams representing Winthrop University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball. Women's sports include volleyball, lacrosse, and softball. The Eagles compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Big South Conference.[2]
