For the first time, 200 developers from will come together for a Hackathon competition based on building and launching an app that solves a challenge in the Fashion & Retail industry. Hackers will join Fashion & Retail leaders to discuss the industry’s pain points, opportunities for new products and partnerships. The goal? Have a cool app launched by America’s most influential Fashion organization — the CFDA — for a cash prize. The top 3 teams will receive 10 days of mentorship, learning how to cater the tech pitch to a fashion-minded audience - skills that are useful to all Tech founders pitching to clients and prospect partners in this field. On Feb. 14, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, one of the world’s top Fashion stages, the teams will present on the runway to a panel of Fashion judges.
