The New Jersey Devils are a professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey, United States. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League . The club was founded in Kansas City, Missouri as the Kansas City Scouts in 1974, moved to Denver, Colorado as the Colorado Rockies after only two seasons, and then settled in New Jersey in 1982.
For the first time in the NHL, Hotbox Sports Ventures, a New Jersey-based fantasy sports technology and content provider, will enter into a sponsorship agreement with a team, the New Jersey Devils announced today. As part of the deal, the Devils will promote HotBoxSports.com, as it introduces a new style of fantasy sports gaming to hockey fans around the world in late November. The sponsorship pact will promote HotBoxSports.com throughout Devils assets including in-arena, media and social channels.
