The Idaho Potato Drop is an annual New Year’s Eve celebration in Downtown Boise, Idaho hosted by the Idaho New Year’s Commission & The Idaho Potato Commission.
For the third year, a giant potato will be dropped in front of Idaho's Capitol building to ring in the New Year. The event has attracted national and international attention.
