Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. (日本郵政株式会社 Nippon Yū-sei Kabushiki-gaisha?) is a Japanese state-owned conglomerate headquartered in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo. It operates post offices, banks, and insurance business. The company offers letters and goods transportation services, stamp sales, deposits, loans, and insurance products.[3][4] There were plans to fully privatize the agency but these have been put on hold.[3] As of 2013, it ranked thirteenth in the Fortune Global 500 list of the world's largest companies.[5]
Tokyo 2020 is a bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics by the city of Tokyo and the Japanese Olympic Committee. The winning bid will be announced on September 7, 2013 at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires. Tokyo previously hosted the 1964 Summer Olympics.
