The Orlando Magic NBA franchise has announced Chase as its official financial services partner.   The multi-year agreement sees Chase also become the official bank, credit card, financial services partner and ATM provider of the team’s Amway Center home.   Under the terms of the deal, Chase will receive prominent exposure at the venue through the Chase Club, which encompasses the entire club level, and the newly named Chase Box Office. Financial terms were not disclosed.   As a ‘Champions of the Community’ (COTC) partner of the team and the venue, Chase has committed to running community programmes in the greater Orlando area, including military initiatives and improving local sports facilities. Chase has promised to refurbish ten basketball courts over the tenure of the relationship.   Additionally, Chase will be the presenting sponsor of the Magic’s annual open practice community event and will donate 2,000 tickets to local communities.   Chase will launch the partnership during a special ceremony when the Magic host the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night. On Saturday, Magic guard Arron Afflalo will make an appearance at a local elementary school as part of a project to promote sports to local youth.   “We are big fans of our local communities and the things that keep our cities vibrant—the energy of the Magic and the modern, youthful spirit of Amway Center are part of what makes Orlando so unique and attractive to locals and visitors alike,” said Mel Martinez, chairman for JPMorgan Chase in Florida.
