Today the NBA named Kaiser Permanente as its first-ever healthcare partner.  The multi-year deal is the result of what the NBA calls a “strategic priority.”  Under the deal, Kaiser Permanente becomes the Official Health Care Partner of the NBA, WNBA, NBA D-League and USA Basketball.  While Kaiser Permanente had previous partnerships in place with the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, the deal marks the company’s first-ever national partnership with a professional sports league.
