The World Food Championships will bring culinary champions from all walks of life into one arena so that they can square off for food supremacy and a prize purse of $300,000. Using a hybrid of sanctioned, celebrity and customized judging processes, The World Food Championships will identify winners in seven key categories of divisional cooking competitions, culminating in a Final Table face-off with celebrity food experts presiding as the chief judges.
As an official sponsor of the WFC’s World Sandwich Championships, the Kansas City Steak Company’s top-of-the-line ribeye will be the featured product as contestants recreate the ribeye sandwich during the opening round of the food tournament, which is set for Nov. 3-10, 2015, in Kissimmee, Fla., with the winning ribeye steak sandwich to be featured at Arrowhead Stadium during a Kansas City Chiefs home game.
