Lucas Oil Products is a manufacturer and distributor of automotive oil, additives, and lubricants. It was founded by trucker Forrest Lucas and his wife Charlotte in 1989. The company is a sponsor of several NASCAR, H1 Unlimited, NHRA and Indy Racing League events. In 2005, Lucas Oil founded the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

The Indiana Governor's Cup (more commonly known as the Madison Regatta) is an H1 Unlimited hydroplane boat race held annually on Independence Day weekend on the Ohio River in Madison, Indiana.
Madison Regatta Incorporated is announcing the signing of Lucas Oil Corporation, headquartered in Corona California, as Title Sponsor for the 2010 Madison Regatta to be held on the Ohio River in Historic Madison. Lucas Oil spokesperson Cathy Hale said, �Forrest and Charlotte Lucas are very excited about being involved in this outstanding event in their home state of Indiana. They have been very impressed with the volunteer effort by the citizens of the Madison area, who have supported their wonderful community celebration and kept it successful for 60 years.�
