About Sponsor:
Lucas Oil Products is a manufacturer and distributor of automotive oil, additives, and lubricants. It was founded by trucker Forrest Lucas and his wife Charlotte in 1989. The company is a sponsor of several NASCAR, H1 Unlimited, NHRA and Indy Racing League events. In 2005, Lucas Oil founded the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
About Property:
The National Hot Rod Association is a drag racing governing body, which sets rules in drag racing and host events all over the United States and Canada. With over 80,000 drivers in its rosters, the NHRA is considered one of the largest motorsports sanctioning bodies in the world.
The all-encompassing partnership includes series sponsorship of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, title-rights sponsorship of the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, naming rights at historic Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, and designation as the Official Oil of NHRA.
