The Assistant or Associate Conservator of Objects will have responsibility for the conservation of decorative arts, sculpture, ethnographic, archaeological, mixed media and antiquities in the permanent collection and on loan. Working under the direction of the Chief Conservator, the Assistant or Associate Conservator of Objects will work in collaboration with other Museum staff to devise and implement strategies and procedures for the preservation of a broad range of object-based collections of varied materials, cultures and historical periods, including preventative conservation.
