<p>Esports stars are now sponsored all the way down to their briefs.<p>Indeed, undergarment manufacturer MeUndies has entered into an official sponsorship with professional League of Legends organization Immortals. And they have the ridiculous video to prove it:<p>MeUndies joins non-endemic companies such as Turtle Wax, Credit Karma, Bud Light, and Geico hoping to catch the esports wave.<p>With the majority of prize money going to players, organizations often rely on these third-party companies to make ends meet or expand into new frontiers. <p>“A lot of these companies that aren’t really gamer-related products will try to curate their marketing tools in a way that appeals solely to gamers,” Immortals CEO Noah Winston told Mashable.<p>According to a report released by Superdata last week, esports will generate roughly $892 million in revenue this year. <p>“In esports, sponsorships can range anywhere from a few thousand dollars a month if you just want something like social posting, all the way up to high-six, low-seven-figures,” said Whinston.<p>Immortals is currently the first place team in the NA LCS with a record of 15-1.
