Marcus Ardel Taulauniu Mariota (born October 30, 1993) is an American football quarterback. He played college football at the University of Oregon and was the Ducks starting quarterback from 2012 to 2014. He is currently awaiting the start of the 2015 NFL Draft. Mariota became the first Oregon player and Hawaii-born athlete to ever win the Heisman Trophy as a junior in 2014.
