The Quinnipiac Bobcats are the twenty one sports teams representing Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track and field; women's-only field hockey, golf, softball, and volleyball; and men's-only baseball. Quinnipiac University is an NCAA Division I Institution and is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Big East for field hockey and ECAC Hockey for men's and women's ice hockey. Known for its men's ice hockey team, a perennial top ten program having made it to the NCAA Championship game during the 2013 and 2016 seasons, and women's basketball, who are perennially league winners and made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament during the 2017 season.
