Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink that is produced and manufactured by PepsiCo. Created and developed in 1898 and introduced as "Brad's Drink", it was later renamed as Pepsi-Cola on June 16, 1903. Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink" in New Bern, North Carolina, United States, in 1898 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his home where the drink was sold. It was later labeled Pepsi Cola, named after the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.

The Jordan Football Association is the governing body of football in Jordan.
Under the deal PepsiCo-Jordan has renewed its sponsorship of JFA’s activities, as well as the PepsiCo Football League for the Gifted and national football teams which fall under PepsiCo-Jordan’s support to the Prince Ali Centers. The sponsorship also positions Pepsi and Aquafina as the official beverages for JFA and the national teams. This partnership corresponds with H.R.H. Prince Ali’s belief that talented Jordanian football players are the future of Jordanian football and the cornerstone to achieving continuous sporting success on the regional, continental and international fronts.
