Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink that is produced and manufactured by PepsiCo. Created and developed in 1898 and introduced as "Brad's Drink", it was later renamed as Pepsi-Cola on June 16, 1903. Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink" in New Bern, North Carolina, United States, in 1898 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his home where the drink was sold. It was later labeled Pepsi Cola, named after the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe.
The 2012 Halftime Show of Super Bowl XLVI headlined by Madonna and aired on NBC was the most-watched Halftime Show ever, with 114 million viewers, about 3 million more than the actual game.[2] Since 2008, the Super Bowl halftime show has been sponsored by Bridgestone, though the brand announced it would not renew the deal in 2012. Super Bowl XLVII will air on CBS and be held on February 3rd, 2013 at New Orleans' Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
