Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C., operating as Qatar Airways, is the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar. Headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha,[3] it operates a hub-and-spoke network, linking over 100 international destinations from its base in Doha, using a fleet of more than 100 aircraft. Qatar Airways operates services across Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Far East, South Asia, Middle East, North America, South America and Oceania, and was named Airline of the Year 2012 at the Skytrax World Airline Awards.[4] The airline has more than 20,000 staff, with 14,000 people employed directly and a further 6,000 in its subsidiaries.[5] Qatar Airways will join the oneworld alliance August 2013, according to announcements by CEO Akbar Al Baker and oneworld 8 October 2012.[6]
Ons Jabeur (Arabic: أُنْس جابر Uns Jābir; born 28 August 1994) is a Tunisian professional tennis player. She has a career-high Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking of No. 31 in the world. At the 2020 Australian Open, Jabeur became the first Arab woman to reach quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament. She is also the highest-ranked Arab player in WTA history. Jabeur has won 11 singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Women's Circuit. She reached her only WTA final in 2018 at the Premier-level Kremlin Cup in Russia.
