The inaugural edition of the Ladies Open Biel Bienne, an International-level WTA tennis event, was held in April 2017 at the Swiss National Tennis Centre in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.[1] The new indoor arena was completed in February 2017.
Zug, Switzerland – Samsung has become the new main sponsor and naming partner of the WTA tournament in Lugano. Joining Samsung as presenting sponsor of the tennis competition is Lugano-based Cornèr Bank, which has led to the design of a new event logo to reflect this unique partnership.
