The NBA 2K League (NBA2KL) is an eSports league between the National Basketball Association and NBA 2K. The league was announced on May 4, 2017, along with announcing that 17 of the 30 NBA teams would own their own NBA 2K League team beginning in 2018.[1] The inaugural season will begin in May 2018.
