The Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament has acquired sponsorship from Siemens Home Appliances.   The deal, brokered by IMG, sees home appliance manufacturer Siemens receive logo placement on one of the participating teams, EHC Wolfsburg, as well as on-ice positioning. Extensive TV and print presence and VIP and public ticket quotas are also included in the sponsorship package.   Earlier this month Skoda were announced as third-tier sponsors of the event which sees a different six-team line up each year compete for one of the oldest hockey trophies in the world.   Swiss hockey team HC Davos will host the event, taking place from 26th to 31st December this year.
